I’m super super nervous about posting this I’m so sorry.  

Hi! Okay, so for those of you who don’t know me my name is Anna. I don’t talk about super personal stuff on here very often so for my followers, please bare with me.

I’m seventeen and currently living with my cousin, my aunt and her boyfriend. My sister is also staying with us for the time being and we’re not yet sure if that is permanent. (My aunt, sister and cousin are all pictured above, with me)

I see posts like this every so often. I don’t know if this will work, and I hate that I even have to do it, but here goes:

My aunt, cousin and I have been living with my aunt’s boyfriend for almost a year. Within the past few months he’s become incredibly emotionally and mentally abusive. And now, my aunt has absolutely reached her breaking point. I have a severe anxiety disorder that has gotten increasing worse the past few weeks (so bad that I barely leave my room anymore). And the boyfriend just makes it so much worse.

Recently, it also came to light that my sister was abused by a family member so we’re also dealing with bills for therapy and lawyers and her medication (as well as mine) as well as a loss of income because said member is currently locked up, and my sister has been staying with us as well. No one in the family is able to help us.

So the gist of it is: we cannot afford to leave this household, and he knows that. My aunt pays almost the entire rent as well as other bills, (even though he works- he doesn’t pay anything) and we can’t afford to even secretly save up money because all the money she’s making is going toward current bills and he’ll know what’s happening. I’m afraid that if he figures out that we’re trying to leave, he will also become physically abusive.

I’m terrified for all of us, and for just myself as well. Being in this household has caused me to regress and relapse worse than ever before. I have an average of three panic attacks a day - I can’t eat or sleep and I can barely stand any human interaction whatsoever. My Aunt is becoming insanely depressed, and my sister has so much going on with all of the abuse stuff that I know this is a horrible environment for her. (My cousin, thankfully, is currently out of state, but he’ll be back next week)

I’m starting this fundraiser to try and raise enough money so that we can get a place big enough for three teenagers and one adult. Like I said, all of our current money is being spent basically as soon as it’s earned so we have nothing to use, and we need to get out of here as soon as possible. I earn $20 every time I babysit (like twice a week, maybe) and I’m trying to save that as much as possible, but I know it won’t be enough.

I’m asking you, if you are able at all to donate anything, even a penny, it would be really really help us and I we would be so, so incredibly grateful. In the grand scheme of things, I don’t have very many followers, but I’m hoping enough people will reblog this that it’ll get at least some notice.
